Well, it is a sad time of year for most campers, and you may be in denial, but it is time to think about Winterizing your camper! If you are not using it again, and you want us, or another shop to do the winterizing for you, earlier is better than later. When we get our first hard freeze, we always get slammed with a lot of requests for winterizing appointments and we can't always get around to everyone before damage has been done to your RV. The most important tip I can give you is that if there is any risk of freezing, at least TAKE THE DRAIN PLUG OUT OF YOUR WATER HEATER! That is the most expensive part of your water system and because it is located on the outside wall of your RV with a vent in the door, it is very vulnerable to the cold. If you are planning to do your own winterizing, look above the Tips Window for a link to a brochure with lots of helpful information! See you in the spring!
